About Megan
Hi! I’m Megan (they/she). I’m glad you’re here.
I help couples, relationships, and individuals explore identities, build healthier patterns of communication, and experience greater connection, authenticity, and pleasure in their intimate relationships. I am particularly passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community in building resiliency, empowerment, and joy through a trans- and queer-affirming framework.
Drawing primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), modern psychodynamic theory, and intersectional queer theory, I aspire to provide a validating, non-judgmental, and liberatory space for people to explore how past experiences have shaped current beliefs and patterns.
My office is located in the Central West End neighborhood of Saint Louis. I also offer online sessions throughout Missouri and Colorado.
The process I facilitate as a therapist is anchored in tenderness, intuition, and human connection. I aim to work collaboratively and compassionately as we slow down and open up to life in a new way.

Often people end up struggling with their mental health because they feel lost or powerless in our society’s seemingly unrelenting hustle.
You know what it’s like to try to keep up with that hustle— working so hard to be who people expect you to be, wearing a mask of the person you think you’re supposed to be. You’ve been so focused on fitting in, succeeding, or just trying to belong, that you’ve lost track of who you truly are.
But I assure you, there is another way.
I chose to become a therapist because I’ve always been captivated by personal stories and our processes of making sense of the world around us. I am drawn to questions such as: How do power, privilege, and oppression play a part in our understandings of ourselves and our own humanity? Why do we build the patterns and defense mechanisms that we do? How can we take steps toward feeling seen, heard, understood, validated, and powerful? Sitting in the therapist’s chair is an honor, as I join the people I work with in their courageous journey of self-discovery and healing.
Outside of work, I find peace and respite from the busy world by moving my body, and connecting with nature and loved ones, whether that be deepening my meditation practice, hiking through rugged forest trails with my wife and our big goofy dog Milton, or savoring a beautiful home-cooked meal with chosen family.
